Shopping at Artavatar
Shopping for art is easy at Artavatar. This page will help
you understand how to navigate through the Artavatar website and
make any purchases.
The shopping cart stores all the works of art you would like to
purchase on Artavatar. To add an artwork, choose your selection
from the website and click on “Add to Shopping Cart”.
We ask you to “Register” if you are a new user or
“Login” if you are an existing Artavatar client, so
that we can make sure that your shopping cart is ready with all
the appropriate taxes, shipping and handling charges.
Please note that ALL works of art viewed on this website are sold
unframed.
Once you have logged onto Artavatar with your username and password,
you will be able to purchase any available artwork directly from
your shopping cart. While shopping, when you click on the "Proceed"
button, you will be presented with the payment options available
online. Please choose the payment option which is suitable for
you and please go through the procedures, terms and conditions
before you choose and enter
your payment details. Your order will be processed immediately
and you should receive a confirmation order number for reference
and tracking. Please contact us if you have any additional questions
regarding the purchase.
Once you place your order, the selected artwork will be held for
you. Payment is due within seven days of placing the order. Please
note that items will continue to be displayed as ‘Not Available’
until your payment reaches us, at which time they will be marked
as ‘Sold’.
Items will be shipped immediately upon receipt of payment. If
your order is a gift, please make sure that the person receiving
the artwork is aware of any and all customs implications stated
below.

Returns only if goods are damaged during shipping. Shipping return
via DHL must be paid by the buyer
All purchases are FINAL. Returns will be accepted ONLY if items
are damaged during shipping and ONLY if Artavatar is notified
IN WRITING within five (5) days.
In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged shipment, please
do the following:
1. Note the damage on BOTH the courier's copy of the air bill
and your own copy (which you retain).
2. If applicable, note the damage on the courier's delivery sheet
as well.
3. Contact us immediately at contact@artavatar.com
4. Include a detailed description of the damage along with photographic
evidence (including close-ups).
We will process your case as quickly as possible.
Please note that return shipping must be paid by the customer.
Prices indicated on this website do NOT include shipping and handling
charges. If you should wish to have the artwork
framed please contact us for a quote and we will find out if it
is possible to obtain quotes for framing and will inform you of
any additional cost for framing, shipping and handling fees. The
delivery time for shipping any framed works of art will take longer
than two weeks and any requests made for framing will only be
accepted depending on the feasibility of framing such works of
art.
Also as these are original and unique pieces of artwork please
note there maybe some edges that are not straightened and can
be rectified only when you frame such items. These are not considered
to be damaged items by Artavatar.
Shipping and Customs
Artavatar will send works of art mainly through DHL, the internationally
reputed courier company unless they are not available then an
alternative but reliable courier company will be used.
The customs regulations or import duties vary from country to
country and you (the Buyer) will be responsible for making such
payments at your nearest local customs office.
Artavatar is not responsible for payment local import duties
if such a duty is levied in your country. DHL will contact you
if the paintings are held at your local customs for any duties
and you will need to make necessary arrangements to clear and
collect these items at your end.
Please note that shipping cost by DHL is not included in the price of the painting.
Disclaimer
All paintings are sold unframed and as they have been represented
to us by the artists. The images are as close to the original
works of art as digital cameras that have been used permit. Artavatar
reserves the right to change prices on the website in accordance
to administrative or shipping policies.
Who may process data
Any personal information (which includes your name, address and
any other details you provide to us) may be processed both by
Artavatar and our webmaster.
Purpose of processing
We will use your information for the purpose of providing services
you have requested, processing any other transactions authorized
or made by you with us, informing you of our events and providing
other marketing information to you which we think you may find
of interest.
Disclosure of information
We undertake not to provide your personal information to third
parties save in accordance with this policy.
